Gift of Christmas Appeal FIFE is now in its 8th year.

We aim to ensure that every child and young person in Fife, aged 0-18 years, has gifts to open on Christmas morning.

Gift of Christmas Appeal FIFE is run entirely by Volunteers, several of which are also Trustees. No one receives any payment for their time, petrol, expenses, etc. We do not receive any form of sponsorship. Every penny of all cash donations we receive is spent on gifts for the children and young people we support. THIS MAKES US UNIQUE FROM OTHER SIMILAR FIFE WIDE APPEALS.

Our strict application procedure ensures that we do not process duplicate applications and that we can make sure that we operate as fairly as possible, providing one gift bag per child. If we receive more than 1 application for the same child, all duplicates are able to be removed, due to the time and effort which we put in to this aspect of our work. THIS MAKES US UNIQUE FROM OTHER SIMILAR FIFE WIDE APPEALS.

We have over 60 drop-off points across Fife.

All donations stay in Fife.

We have around 30 regular Volunteers, support from Trustees and from a fab group at Lloyds Banking Group who work with us each year for their 'day to make a difference'.

On average we are able to provide a large gift bag of gifts per child, to around 1300 children and young people each year.

With a help from its supporters, donators, volunteers, drop off points, beneficiary organisations, local press, warehouse provider and everyone else who has taken the time to help along the way, Gift of Christmas Appeal Fife can make a real difference to the lives of many many children and families across Fife at Christmas.
